A seed phrase (also called a secret phrase or recovery phrase) is a sequence of 12 or 24 random words generated when you create a crypto wallet. It is the master key to everything in that wallet. Anyone who has your seed phrase has complete and permanent access to all your crypto — with no way to reverse it. It depends on what type of wallet you are using. If your crypto is on a licensed exchange — you can usually recover access through the exchange's account recovery process (email, KYC verification).
